Pupil Voice is strong in Cantonian as we value our pupils’ input. Throughout the year, pupils are called on to give their opinions through questionnaires and interviews with staff. They are asked to comment on their lessons and to give feedback on teaching strategies.
The School Council is another area where pupils are able to express their thoughts and opinions in order to make a change to school life. Council members are elected by their peers annually, in the autumn term.
Through regular meetings, the Council discuss important ideas and issues that are then dealt with in school. They may also be involved in the appointment of new staff from lesson observations to interviewing prospective teachers. This allows pupils to contribute to a very important process.
Further information on the School Council is available from Mr Radsma.
